Your data

We do not ask for your name, email or phone, and we do not store your IP address. Here is what we keep — and how to delete it.

• A random ID in a cookie on this browser, so we can count visits and remember quizzes in progress.
• What happens on the site: pages you open, answers, finished quizzes, shares — with the country and city from your connection, to see which quizzes work where.
• In the Daily challenge: your nick, the country you chose and your results.
• Challenges you send or play: your answers, the name you give a challenge and friends’ results on it — deleted after 180 days.
• If you make an account: your email (only to send sign-in codes) and an age band (13–15, 16–17 or 18+, never the date). Deleting your data deletes the account at once.
• The same visit events, without the ID itself, in Google Analytics (outside the EU, the UK and Switzerland).

After 25 months the ID is removed from old events anyway; only counts remain.

This browser will start fresh: your progress, nick and picks country are forgotten here too.
