Terms of Use
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Nanizo (“we”) about using nanizo.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Nanizo.
About Nanizo
Nanizo is an independent project at an early stage of development, built online. Its features and content may change; errors and temporary unavailability are possible.
Use the site lawfully, respect other people’s rights, and do not try to disrupt it or gain unauthorized access.
For questions about how the site works, privacy and how your data is handled, write to us.
Use of the site is governed by applicable law, to the extent the law permits. These terms do not limit the mandatory rights of users and consumers.
1. The service
Nanizo offers free quizzes, daily tournaments and related features. We may add, change or remove features at any time. Most of Nanizo works without an account.
2. Who can use Nanizo
- You must be 13 or older. To create an account you must also meet the minimum age set by law where you live (up to 16 in some EU countries).
- If you are under 18, use Nanizo with the permission of a parent or guardian.
- Tournaments with prizes, if we ever run them, will have their own rules and will be open to adults (18+) only.
3. Play fair
- Tournaments rank a limited number of tries per device per day; extra tries count as practice.
- Do not use bots, scripts, multiple identities, answer lookups or other tricks to change your score or anyone else’s.
- We may remove scores, hide nicknames or block access that we reasonably believe breaks these rules, with or without notice.
4. Nicknames
- Public leaderboards show a nickname picked from our list. Where you can type your own nickname, it is shown only to you and to friends you challenge.
- Do not use a nickname that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone (including Nanizo), or contains personal information such as your full name or phone number.
- We may change or remove any nickname. You can report a nickname with the “Report” button.
5. Accounts
If you create an account, you sign in with a code we email you: keep your email account safe and tell us if you think someone else used your Nanizo account. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page or with “Delete my data” on the Your data page.
6. Our content
- Quizzes, questions, facts, texts, the Nanizo name, logo and mascot belong to Nanizo or our licensors. You may play, share links and quote a question or two with a link to the quiz. Do not copy, scrape or republish quizzes or our database in bulk.
- Some photos and flags come from Wikimedia Commons and other sources under their own licenses; each one shows its credit and license.
- Names of films, teams, competitions, games and brands belong to their owners. Nanizo is not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless we say so.
7. Accuracy
We check our facts, but quizzes can contain mistakes or go out of date. Nanizo is for fun and learning, not professional advice. If you spot an error, use “Report a problem” on the question or write to us.
8. Ads and paid features
Nanizo is free. We may show ads in the future and may offer optional paid features (for example, an ad-free option); any paid feature will show its price and terms before you pay.
9. Things you must not do
Do not break the law using Nanizo; attack, overload or probe the site’s security; interfere with other players; or use Nanizo to send spam.
10. Ending use
You can stop using Nanizo at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Nanizo is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not let us limit.
12. Law
Use of the site is governed by applicable law, to the extent the law permits. These terms do not limit the mandatory rights of users and consumers.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date; significant changes will also be announced on the site before they take effect.
